That was the first of four companies I'd own. Alternative Business Systems used revolutionary OCR technology to help paper-heavy companies digitize files and save money. I am one of you. I have been—and am—in your shoes.
Fast-forward to October 2024 at Georgetown School of Business. I co-led a workshop for founders and small business owners learning marketing. They weren't seeking hand-holding or agency interpretation—they wanted knowledge and tools to do it themselves. "Point me in the right direction" was the universal vibe.
